Call of Duty Modern Warfare players are experiencing issues this evening, as players across Europe and the US are complaining of connectivity problems.
A message appearing on players’ screens reads:
“Servers are undergoing temporary maintenance. You have been entered into a queue and will be joined to the game shortly.”
Online service Down Detector has logged a huge spike in reported problems
Activision’s own web page reports that all services are online, but dozens of players don’t agree.
This is the third day in a row that players have been denied their online combat fix by a server outage. There were multiple reports of matchmaking problems yesterday and Monday, as well as a sprinkling of problems on Valentine’s Day.
Activision suggest that users power down their consoles, restart their routers, and then restart to clear any connection problems.
Most of the outage reports are coming from European players, although that may change once the US wakes up
